CLUTCH ADJUSTMENT

The clutch is set to its lightest adjustment by the manufacturer. To tighten the clutch, turn all four of the clutch adjustment nuts clockwise 1/4 turn each. Retry the operator.
 
WARNING
DISCONNECT OPERATOR FROM ANY ELECTRICAL POWER
SOURCE BEFORE ATTEMPTING ANY ADJUSTMENTS INSIDE ENCLOSURE.

SET LIMIT SWITCHES
NOTE: Limit switches are pre-adjusted at factory and no adjustment should be necessary.
 
TO ADJUST CLOSE LIMIT SWITCH: (WHEN GATE IS IN CLOSE POSITION)
A. Loosen set screw on limit cam.
B. Rotate close limit cam, in same direction as shaft turns to close gate, until limit switch just activites.
C. Tighten set screw securely.

TO ADJUST OPEN LIMIT SWITCH: (WHEN GATE IS IN OPEN POSITION)
NOTE: B- 1 Switch cam should be adjusted to activate just prior to open I limit.
A. Loosen set screw on open limit switch.
B. Rotate open limit cam, in same direction as shaft turns to open gate, until open limit switch just activates.
C. Tighten set screw securely.

NOTE:

1. If no external interlock of "stop" button is used, connect a jumper between terminals #4 & #5.

2. Remove violet jumper wire between terminals # 12 and # 14 when timer defeat switch is used.

CONTROL FUNCTIONS: TERMINALS #1 AND #2: Single contact control device (radio control, lbs. card key, etc.) will open unless fully open. NOTE: 3 wire radio receiver connects to #1, #2, and #3. 4-wire radio connects to #1, #2, #3, and #4 to provide 24 vac.

TERMINALS #4, #5, #6, and #7: #4 and #5: Connect to stop, external interlock control station lockout, etc. If more than one device is used, connect all stop, interlock, or lockout in series. #5 and #6: Momentary contact to open gate. #5 and #7: Momentary contact to close gate. 3 BS: Connects to #4, #5, #6, and V. 2BS or KEYSWITCH connects to #5, #6 and #7.

TERMINALS #8 AND #9: Safety device, normally open contact, will reverse if closing, hold in open position and reset timer. No operation if gate is fully closed. TIMER: Timer to close wires from terminal #5 to timer limit switch. Timer starts when gate is fully open. Any "Open" control signal will reset timer, when timer defeat switch is used, wire between #5 and timer. (see diagram)

LOOP DETECTOR CONTROLS: TERMINALS #8 AND #10, #11, AND #12: Open and close from loop detector system. Note: Gate will open when "open" loop is activated, then cleared.

CLOSE/SAFETY LOOP: TERMINALS #8 AND #10: Will close from fully open positions when activated and then cleared. If activated while closing, gate will reverse to fully open. It will hold open and disable all close inputs while activated. It will not open gate if fully closed.

OPEN LOOP: TERMINALS #8 AND #11: Will open gate and reset timer. Will reverse if activated while gate is closing.

CLOSE LOOP: TERMINALS #8 AND #12: Will close gate when activated, then cleared. Will store a "close" signal. If activated when cleared during open cycle, gate will immediately close if all loops are clear when it reaches full open. Close loop connection will prevent gate closing as long as it is activated. Gate will close as soon as loop is clear. Note: Gate will not reverse if "close" loop is reactivated once cycle has started.

SINGLE LOOP TO OPEN AND CLOSE: TERMINAL #8, #11, AND #12: Use for free entry or exit from a single loop. Connect loop contacts between terminals #8 and #11; and a jumper between #11 and #12. Gate will open and close as soon as loop is cleared. Loop will reverse gate to full open and will hold open. It will disable close inputs while activated.
